Affiliate disclosure

How this website may earn money, in plain English.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and you're never obliged to buy anything.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Our "View on Amazon.co.uk" buttons are Amazon affiliate links. Most of them open an Amazon.co.uk search for a type of product (for example, "neoprene dumbbells") so you can compare the current options yourself.

What we don't do

  • We don't show prices, discounts or star ratings — they change constantly and you should check them on the retailer's site at the time you buy.
  • We don't claim to have tested products we haven't tested. Our kit pages explain what to look for, not which brand to buy.
  • Retailers don't pay to be included and don't see our content before it's published.

How links work

Links to other websites go through an address on our site starting /go/. This lets us keep links up to date in one place and count clicks (without storing personal details). Links marked as paid include rel="sponsored" so search engines know.
